Out now on ILR: ACRYLICS & D.O.C. 7"s
Are you tired of getting your lunch money taken by the slimes at the bus station? Get weapons and confidence at the STORE better known as ironlungrecords.bigcartel.com. Here are some:
ACRYLICS - Despair 7" w/download (LUNGS-090)
Taking the modern stomp stamp of weird hardcore to a new generation of outsiders, Santa Rosa's Acrylics rule the outer spheres. Gutsy angular guitar "melodies" intertwined with pummeling drums, urgent bass and a half violent, half snide singer that packs a wallop. Music for wilding. Seeing is believing but enjoy this vinyl debut until you can. Rumor is there's an LP for ILR in the works too.
Art by J.Party. Recorded by Jack Shirley.
This is part of the ILR single series 3 so there are only 300 made ever. All hand stamped and hand numbered. That is all. Good day.
D.O.C. - Parched Dredge 7" w/download (LUNGS-091)
D.C.'s ground-shakers return with their signature brand of hardcore/noise infused grind. Super destructive and maliscious music that wastes no time getting to the point. Before you know it the record is over and you're left wondering where it all went and why you're so alone with the world destroyed around you. Sorry for your loss.
500 copies on black vinyl housed in a 6 panel foldout sleeve adorned with with painstaking artwork by Nolan.
Eat it at the ILR STORE.

We're back.
Hi. Sorry for the long delay. There were some coding issues with this blog so we fucked it off for a couple months. Also technology is dumb and we are from the stone age.
We have been working hard on the ILR anniversary weekend (see poster below). More updates soon. It will be fucking great.
We should have a bunch of new releases out that weekend too including but not limited to: ROHT 7", MOZART 7", BEHAVIOR LP, COLD SWEAT LP, BAD BREEDING LP and a new IL Mixtape.

Out today on ILR: THE LOWEST FORM - Personal Space LP
It's true, it really came out today. We added a bunch more awesome shit to the webstore too. Check it. We are in London playing Static Shock Weekend this weekend so shipping on these orders may be a bit slower than usual. Don't trip, we will get you taken care of.
THE LOWEST FORM - Personal Space LP w/download (LUNGS-088)
"The second album from UK hardcore engine The Lowest Form, Personal Space sees the band cutting through a comedown fug of feedback, sharp butterflyknife guitars flashing deadly over a wasteground rubble of noise.
Songs drawn up from discord, songs of marshalled cacophony, coils of scritching guitars break apart and reform, coalescing around insistent basslines and heavy drumbeats, before splintering again. It's hardcore constructed from textured noise as much as from breakdowns and riffs, rumbling infectious chants emerging from the wavering clamor, the vile keening of consciousness's half-known edges, noise in the grain of it all, noise as bedrock, an abrasive acid bath of fuzz, susurration and machinewhirr.
"SMASH MY FUCKIN' HEAD AGAINST THE WALL" is the line that opens it up, rising out of Interplanetary Bad Boy's hissing swell. Driven through the album are anguished explorations of interior/exterior limits, whirling around viciously in the grubby borders of your skull, spinning hopelessly in the cosmic of the aether, untethered, higher than the sky but way down in the muck. From Gak Attack's claustrophobic pogo or Last Smash's drawling thump to Star Slammers manic tumble and Dread Future's rolling barrage, The Lowest Form have brought together another LP of murdered-out panicattack punk, lithe and unleashed, born of bad vibes and background radiation, an album at once uncomfortably close and fully heavy." -Joe Briggs
