USELESS CHILDREN is a hit...down there

We have received quite a few emails talking of the greatness that is better known as Post Ending//Pre Completion. One of which was from Bruce of Aberrant Records via Rick Feedtime (who appears as a guest vocalist on the UC lp) that reads something like this: "...when bruce heard the childrens latest thing he commented that it was the best new album that he's heard in nine years...this sort of comment coming from someone with his credentials is something I thought you might like to hear...thanks a lot...rick". Another one comes from Tim of Tym Guitars fame. Read the whole article here.

To say that we are flattered is an understatement. We are beyond lucky to be able to work with these people.

The USELESS CHILDREN "Walk Away" video rules, OK?

Yep, that's Jesus Lizard's own David Yow.

STRAIGHTJACKET NATION 7" & USELESS CHILDREN LP out now!

What was supposed to be ready in June is ready a few days early. Here's what we got for your earwax problem:

USELESS CHILDREN - Post Ending//Pre Completion LP (LUNGS-032)
The trip just got real heavy. Effects-soaked noise rock of the highest order from the country down under, squealing and smashing it's way into our hearts. This magma flows hot and loud with the help of Alex Newport's industrial mixing tendencies and UC's uniquely twisted style of sonic craft. There is even a guest appearance by none other than Rick Feedtime. If that isn't the Aussie/noise seal of approval then we can't help you any further than this.

Comes with a free digital download. Get listening here and get purchasing over here. You'll love yourself.

Aaaaaaaaaand...

STRAIGHTJACKET NATION - Nationalism 7" (LUNGS-027)
Raw and visceral Cleveland meets Boston style hardcore punk music played by tough-skinned Aussie cunts. They take no bullshit and give no quarter to those of a weaker stock. SJN have been laying low for a while but have finally decided to unleash these three cuts for public consumption. A gift. Recorded at CC's Paincave "studio" in Boston, My America.
In short, this is a mean record for mean people. Scare yourself with darker possibilities. Thank you.

Comes with a free digital download. Go to this place to listen and this other place to buy the real deal. We'll love you too.

Thanks for your attention and support. You look really nice today.

ILR upcoming things preview

Record release version of the new LP might be ready by June 1st, which is also our last Seattle show ever. More details soon.

Should be out by June. Interstate Australian tour imminent.

Strange things are afoot within this beast. Be careful.

USELESS CHILDREN "Post Ending // Pre Completion" LP is coming

Scheduled for release this April / May on Iron Lung Records, "Post Ending // Pre Completion" represents our most cohesive work to date.
We worked with a dream team on this record, first being expertly captured to tape by Brent Punshon at Headgap Studios, with vocals and subliminal messages then added with Raul Sanchez (Magic Dirt) in the Kensington Woolsheds. The record was then mixed by Alex Newport of Fudge Tunnel / Nailbomb fame, before the final touches being added by JJ Golden at Golden Mastering.
The album follows on from 2010's 'Skin' EP, with slower songs, primitive drums and layers upon layers of feedback and noise. The album also features a very exciting collaboration in the form of a composition with vocals written and delivered by rick feedtime.
This album, from our point of view, is our first to effectively document our vision of the music.
It's heavy. We can't wait for it's release.
In the mean time enjoy 'Locked Groove'...
