BIG CRUX - Nature Cruising 12" Available NOW

Remember all this from before? Well this slab is out now for you to wiggle on...

Reposted from some other internet:

Hey, folks! Big Crux has a modest musical proposal for you. What could possibly be construed as vacant-stare-chicken-walk-boogie, if not neo-bopism [wink], we happily announce a new one-sided 12” EP entitled Nature Cruising. Inspired when on visit with assorted Chicano Rockers, R&B groovesters, and Boondoggle and Bizcocho, during a field trip to some bygone era of rock n’ roll, it is five songs [some with blatant nods to the aforementioned], 368 iterations, artwork by el presidente Elías Martinez, and musings on the trajectory of human history. You can hear it at bigcrux.bandcamp.com.  Available now through the Iron Lung Records store.

Nice and Friendly, BCX

P.S. Nature Cruising is limited to 300 copies so act fast!

You are lucky...

...To have us in your life.

The mixtape is now sold out.  If you would like to download it please go to our friend at Terminal Escape.  YOU ARE WELCOME.

BIG CRUX - Big Crux Is A Big Funk 7" (Available for Purchase NOW!)

Out of nowhere, unseen for years, Felix from LIFE'S HALT came into the record shop armed with an ipod full of home-made demos aptly titled "Futuro", signaling that he had the itch to start a new band and get back to doing what he does best. Listening through these (only allowed on headphones) tunes we heard tastes of the BIG BOYS, THE PLUGZ and the MINUTEMEN. Best part is that some of those were sung in his native Spanish tongue. Dynamite! Now BIG CRUX is fully formed and tight as shit. Three of those "Futuro" tracks are recorded it is our extreme pleasure to share them with you. Felix, classify those tracks as "Presente" amigo. Silk screened sleeves. Art by Tim Kerr. 500 copies.

Buy HERE.

Added 5.2.11. A review from Tastemaker Fanzine. Thanks Matt.
